When the Bishop visits (usually about every 18 months) we celebrate confirmation.

Confirmation is the mature affirmation of our baptismal promises that may have been made on our behalf when we were much younger. All persons wanting to be confirmed must participate in classes of preparation to understand the meaning of the sacrament.

For those adults who were confirmed in another Christian tradition, you may be Received by the Bishop as a member of the Episcopal Church. Or, if you have been away from the faith for a time, and have come back, you may Reaffirm your Baptismal promises before the Bishop.
